Raul Christopher Riojas has been a professional dancer/entertainer for over 25 years. He is a well-established performer, dance instructor, and award winning dance choreographer in the San Antonio area and in Canada. Raul has toured as a back-up dancer and choreographer for local latin, pop, and cumbia artist. He is also the lead role as Michael Jackson for “The Spirit of Michael Jackson Laser Tribute” show that has appeared nationwide. Raul has also performed at several theme parks including Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and Sea World. He has also performed for several award shows such as “The Pura Vida Music Awards” and “Premios a la Musica Latina” both presented by Univision.
Raul established his own dance company, Body Language in 1999. Body Language Dance Entertainment has specialized in paying tribute to the King of Pop, the late Michael Jackson for over 16 years. “MJ Live” is a ‘Michael Jackson’ inspired dance tribute show, which is meant to bring the experience of ‘Michael Jackson’s’ greatest hits and music videos to life to audiences of all ages.
Not only has Raul Christopher Riojas performed on the stages of great magnitude but he also has developed many after school dance programs to give children the opportunity to explore the world of dance as he himself has been able to. He was able to teach the students how to move groove and enjoy the feeling of dancing freely and has also given his students opportunities to showcase what they have learned and to express themselves through the art of dance on the very same stages he has performed on.
Currently, Raul dances with the San Antonio Fiesta Festivals at San Antonio’s historical Farmers Market Square and at America’s number one flea market, Trader’s Village. Raul Christopher also teaches dance lessons to clients at the convenience of their own home. Raul Christopher is available for group dance lessons as well as workshops. He currently performs the Michael Jackson dance tribute show “MJ Live” with his company Body Language Dance Entertainment at Traders Village during the weekends year round.
